On December 1st, 1993, Kaverri Dental Clinic opened its doors in the second sector of KK Nagar. In ten years, it blossomed into a family dental care centre that originally served the locals before progressively expanding its wings to encompass patients from all over Chennai. With new infrastructure and greater space, the clinic has been operating as a full-fledged multispecialty dental hospital in its current site in Ramasamy Salai since June 2004. KDC’s aim is to deliver high-quality, painless oral health treatment, with a focus on preventative care. KDC also aims to raise awareness among our patients about the importance of oral health and its maintenance, as well as to encourage them to seek regular dental health check-ups.

In 1993, I started as a lecturer at Ragas Dental College, and in 2007, I was promoted to Head of Department, a position I hold to this day. I have 22 years of expertise in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, dental implants, cleft lip and palate, TMJ, and craniofacial skeleton distraction.

In 1996, I completed my masters in Periodontics from Govt. Dental College, Chennai. Since then, I have donned the hats of a clinical practitioner, teacher and researcher over the past 25 years. This has made me very proficient in understanding the needs of patients seeking dental treatment. I am updated with the latest scientific advancements and treatment strategies for successful patient care. I hold an interdisciplinary PhD in Periodontics- Microbiology and have discovered a marker which connects gum disease (periodontitis) with heart disease.
